MochiAds

July 25, 2007

While I had intended to put a fair bit of work in today, an incident involving myself, a number of workmates and a £1,000 bar tab last night prevented me from doing so.

However, I have gotten around to adding MochiAds to Lander. MochiAds are a great concept which allows games developers to continue gaining revenue from their games even when they are placed on other sites.

A very quick thanks to Ben Buxton (KingB3N) and Alex Bevan (abevan) for pointing out how bloody awful Internet Explorer is. They taught me a very valuable lesson today which I should, perhaps, have known already – always check your CSS code on every browser!

An unholy post

July 22, 2007

What you are reading here is the very first blog post of OMGames.

Now, please bear in mind that I have never written a blog before – in my eyes they are unholy, vile tools of devil-worshipers and pubescent teens alike (Not that there’s much difference between the two, nowadays).

However, through a growing need to place all my musings in a readily accessible location (i.e., The Internet) I decided a blog may be the answer. This will allow me to keep everyone up to date as well as reminding myself of all the wild promises I may have made.

Obviously I can’t compare my progress to the previous blog post, this being the first and all, though I can say that the website has been majorly restructured and the accounts system is now in place – so go register your username before someone else nicks it! (Remember, it’s completely free and no spam of any kind will ever be sent to you – and that is a promise).
